Spaces that speak through silence.
Sainz Interiors was founded in 2020 by lead architect Elena Rostova as a reaction against the fast-paced, high-decoration trends of modern interior design. Based in New York, we design residential, commercial, and hospitality sanctuaries worldwide.
Our practice is guided by the principle of subtractive editing. We believe that what is left out is just as vital as what is included. By restricting the volume of noise and decorative items, we allow the raw architecture—the textures of burnished plaster, the grain of raw wood, the cold density of limestone, and the slow movement of sunlight—to become the ornament.

Our Process
Inquiry & Spatial Audit
Every commission begins with an open conversation. We audit the site's natural lighting, environmental context, and align on your daily spatial rituals.
Architectural Concept & Massing
We translate intent into raw volumes, establishing lines of sight and light corridors. We design structural layouts before considering decorative layers.
Materialization & Tactility
We select the palette—matching hand-mixed clay plasters, local stones, and timber finishes. We create 1:1 tactile mockups to feel the textures under light.
Curation & Spatial Handover
We curate bespoke furnishings, custom lighting systems, and artwork. Every piece is placed with restraint, allowing the volume to breathe.
