The Monolith Café

Design Intent

For The Monolith Café, we compressed the material palette to just three components: concrete, local pine, and brushed steel. The layout forces visitors to slow down and interact with the physical presence of the solid counter.

An urban coffee bar dominated by a single concrete espresso bar counter. Raw microcement surfaces contrast with custom oiled pine benches and delicate linear lighting fixtures.
